Lilo is a pretty girl, approx 10 weeks old who had the bad luck of getting dumped in a rural shelter down south. Her luck got better when one of our partners was there to get another dog and saw Lilo. What she saw was a terrified dog in the corner, trying to make her body as small as possible, not looking up. Her eyes were closed as if she was hoping that if she wished hard enough, she would be anywhere but where she was.
Our southern partner reached out to us and we knew we had to help her.
She looks like a hound/lab mix..
In her foster home, she opened up. Wasn’t that scared girl anymore. Was so happy to be out of that shelter and onto a better life in NY. <3
