River is a Hound Mix and is two – three years old, (2-3 years) and is a big boy and weighs about 70 pounds. He’s great with everyone, loves other dogs but does NOT like cats. If you are looking for a dog that is grateful for love, please consider adopting our Boy River since he was surrendered by his adopted family.

History: Poor River must have endured many sleepless nights and agonizing days before he somehow broke free from wherever he was forced to live. CARE saw an urgent plea on FB for “medical funds needed” because River was found roaming in a rural area in SC with an embedded collar. CARE sent a private message to the woman that found him and told her we would pay for his expenses if she would take River to the vet immediately. His wounds were taken care of and administered all of his antibiotics.
