Olivia is an approx 7 yo shih tzu mix.

We need to find her an amazing home.

About a month ago, a woman witnessed a man open up a car door, drop Olivia on the road and drove off. 🙁

Olivia was seen running after the car until her little legs just gave out. The finder gave her to someone who returned her in 24 hours because she wasn’t “lively” enough. Olivia was depressed and the woman wanted another dog. She was going to be dumped to the NYC shelters, until a friend of a friend of one of our volunteers intervened.

She was brought to the vet and the vet said she was bred… a lot. 🙁 She will be getting spayed and getting a really needed dental.

Olivia is unsure, not quite knowing what happened, what she possibly could have done to make her “owners” throw her away…literally.

She will need a patient family who will give her time, people who have a lot of patience. Her whole world was turned upside down, it’s going to take longer than 24 hours for her to know that she can be a part of a family.

Olivia needs a home. A new beginning so she can forget the past. She deserves a person to love her and a person deserving of her loyalty
