Mimi and her pups came to us from the typical situation: a pregnant dog arrived unasked and unwanted at someone’s home out in the boonies. She had her puppies, and they were doing ok, but Mimi was a traveler and kept chasing after cars. She encouraged the resident dogs to do it as well, which was unpopular with her host, so she had to go. We were asked to sponsor her family and I couldn’t say no. Mimi does not like being confined; she would do better with a backyard and a doggie door than being created inside.
