Gabe , and his movie star good looks, is a 1.5 year old
male Shepherd who came from the NYC shelter where he was surrendered by his owner because of “no time”. Gabe is a super cool dude who likes other dogs, but feelings about cats is unknown.

Gabe was described by his previous owner as friendly, affectionate, playful, and a little shy. When in the home, Gabe will follow you around or be in the same room. Gabe’s favorite activity is playing with toys such as balls, squeaky toys, and chew bones. He likes to play fetch and wrestle. He has been kept indoors and either sleeps in his bed, the couch, or in his crate. Gabe eats wet and dry food twice a day. He eats both wet and dry food, but is allergic to chicken. His favorite treats are anything beef flavored. He is house trained and when left alone in the home he is well behaved. He is crate trained but doesn’t like being there, so will whine in the crate unless you are in sight. Gabe knows commands such as sit, stay, down, and come. For exercise he is used to off-leash walks, off-leash dog parks, and running/jogging. When on the leash, he pulls lightly.
