Meet Dani

Our southern partners were contacted about Lovey and her pups. Lovey and her entire family were tossed out of a pick up truck while going down the road. 🙁 Yes, you read that right… tossed out of a pick up truck..

Lovey and 3 of the pups were unhurt, but little Dani’s leg was broken. The young woman who ended up with them was able to raise some money to get Dani’s leg set. However, she was terrified of being stuck with Mama Lovey and all four of the puppies so she gave one away before we committed to take them. 🙁

Dani’s leg was not set right, so she went to our vet to set her broken leg again. Dani will be recovering at a quiet foster home right now.. Momma Lovey will be spayed and is in a furever home down south.

These pups will be at the Petco in Poughkeepsie on Saturday. Get your applications in ASAP if you are interested in one of them. www.careofdc.org
