“Sippy,” short for Mississipi, is an approximately two year old happy-as-heck Hound mix. She was sprung from a shelter in Mississippi on a short list and running out of time when CARE’s southern folk performed a jail break and sent her North. We are so glad they did! Sippy is a happy and energetic gal who’s favorite activity is giving hugs. Sippy spent her whole day at Petco hugging everyone who came in to see her. She is currently in a foster home with other dogs and gets along fine with everyone. There are no cats in the home, so we can’t say what her opinion is about felines. She would be fine with older children as her energy might be too much for toddlers.

Sippy is housetrained, but needs more training on basic commands and leash walking. She knows sit and is very interested and willing to learn. Her good looks make her very appealing and her sparkling personality is the icing on the cake. Since she is young and very energetic, her ideal adopter would be someone who is interested in taking walks and maybe even hikes! If you’re the outdoors and athletic type, Sippy just might be your gal.
