Compassionate Animal Rescue Efforts of Dutchess County

Ariel

It truly takes a village to save a dog, or in this case, two dogs.

Our transport coordinator, Stefani Timpano saw Ariel on the kill list at the Memphis shelter. She fell in love with her and wanted to save her. With the help of her southern counterpart Jane Tate Ashe, she arranged for us to save Ariel. Someone at the shelter asked if we could also save another dog that was going to be killed, Sibley. We saved him too.

Karen LeCain got us set up online at the shelter and Jim Davila went to the shelter and filled out paperwork as our official puller. Jim then went back and got our two gorgeous dogs, Sibley and Ariel.. These two dogs would probably not be alive today had it not been for our village of angels.

Ariel is a terrier mix and is about a year old..

SIbley has found an amazing furever home with people who helped transport them to us. We want the same for Ariel. We would love to get Ariel into a furever home for the holidays. She will be at the Petco in Poughkeepsie on Saturday if you can come by and meet her. We know you will fall in love with her like we all have… Please fill out an application, which can be found on our website www.careofdc.org
